Dairy company Galychyna, a partner of the Perfect PR agency, is among the three most media-active companies in Ukraine

Halychyna, according to a study by FMCG Group, entered the top three most active media companies in Ukraine in its segment in 2018. The company had 851 mentions in the Ukrainian media space in the previous year.

The company has been cooperating with Perfect PR for six months. Dairy company Galychyna has confidently established the positioning of the kefir-yogurt brand G1 in Ukraine. However, it faced many challenges in the previous year. In 2018, the company underwent a complete rebranding and changed the target audience’s core. In addition, it launched two new unique products: “Carpathian yogurt” and “Carpathian kefir.” In communications, Galychyna focused on native materials, social responsibility, and the environmental orientation of the company. The Perfect PR team talks about how they managed to attract a new target audience and what channels and tools were used to convey the company’s values and benefits.

“Our agency’s cooperation with the dairy company began with the development of a communication strategy and continued with media coverage of the release of new products, projects, and events. An essential factor in any cooperation is building a solid and trusting relationship between the agency and its partner. With Galychyna, we worked only on the plane of trust and were guided by one value – openness, quality, unique and creative approach to each project. “

Natalia Ulynets CEO, of Perfect PR

“The company was changing the core of its target audience, and it was a  challenge for everyone. Generation Z itself is not traditional advertising. The brand must speak their language, on topics close to them, socially important and useful. This is the biggest emphasis in media-active companies that we have created on native materials. They provided a minimum of advertising and a maximum of interesting and useful content.

Yevhenia Slobodyanyuk, PR specialist of the agency

“Halychyna is an environmentally responsible company working on its environmental policy and looking for alternatives that could successfully replace the plastic packaging of kefir and yogurt products. To this end, last year, Galychyna partnered with the Circular Economy Hackathon. At the hackathon, the company noted the team that came up with the best idea on “Solutions and materials that will replace plastic.” This was successfully communicated at the event and in the accompanying press materials. “

Olga Lech, CEO of Perfect PR

“An important vector of communication was to convey to the audience the values and philosophy of the company’s brand. That is why Galychyna joined the large-scale information campaign from UNICEF, “Speech Against Violence.” The company’s products have become a platform for essential messages that spoke to Ukrainian families about properly communicating with children and maintaining a favorable atmosphere in relationships.”
