The Ukrainian Catholic University’s School of Journalism and Communications, in partnership with Perfect PR, Launches Ukraine’s First PR Laboratory
The Ukrainian Catholic University’s School of Journalism and Communications, together with the Perfect PR agency, has introduced a groundbreaking educational initiative—the first PR laboratory in Ukraine. This innovative learning format is designed for students enrolled in the “Media Communications” master’s program. What sets the PR laboratory apart is the opportunity for students to work on real projects from Perfect PR, gaining hands-on experience in public relations from day one.
Yesterday, the PR laboratory officially opened at the Faculty of Social Sciences. Perfect PR specialists met with the students, introduced the agency’s work and projects, and led the inaugural lecture on “Briefing.”
Father Andriy Shestak, Director of the School of Journalism and Communications at UCU, emphasizes the program’s practical focus:
“This is a six-month training practicum for second-year Media Communications students, offering hands-on experience in client communications with Perfect PR, designing communication campaigns, organizing media events, and immersing in the daily work of a communications specialist.”
Natalia Ulynets, CEO of Perfect PR, shared her insights:
“Our primary goal in the PR laboratory is to merge contemporary communication education with real-world agency practice. Graduate students will work on ‘real-time’ projects, proposing fresh communication solutions for Ukrainian companies and witnessing the impact of their work first hand. This is a novel experience for both UCU and Perfect PR, aimed at fostering growth and innovation in Ukraine’s PR industry.”
The collaboration between UCU, renowned for its progressive educational approach, and Perfect PR, with 13 years of market expertise, will create a unique learning environment. This partnership equips students with the skills and readiness they need for a successful career in PR and communications.
