Change as a Growth Strategy: Perfect PR Celebrates 15 Years

Perfect PR

Perfect PR agency is celebrating its 15th anniversary! For our team, these 15 years have been a journey of continuous growth and development, collaborating with clients across various business sectors, and launching major reputation-driven campaigns.

Over this time, the market has transformed significantly, and Perfect PR has evolved alongside it. We have grown from a small PR boutique into a powerful team of professionals. Together with experience, our values, approaches, and understanding of the true meaning of communication took shape. We didn’t just grow; we underwent stages of transformation and established our own standards. This is how the value system that forms the foundation of Perfect PR today was built.

How It All Began

In 2010, a real-world client request served as the catalyst for the agency’s story.

“A major network company from the forestry sector was looking for a PR contractor, with the mandatory requirement that it be a registered legal entity. This was the perfect opportunity to formalize the business. Back then, it was the exact intersection of market demand and communication expertise. At the time, we knew absolutely nothing about running our own business, but we had a deep understanding of how reputation works. We saw an opportunity to create something truly meaningful — an agency that would help businesses become visible and influential. I am incredibly grateful that there were people by my side who supported me and said: ‘You need to do this and start your own path,'” recalls Nataliya Ulynets, Founder and CEO of Perfect PR Agency.

Shortly after, the name Perfect PR (legally incorporated as “Perfect Solutions”) and the first logo were created, reflecting the agency’s principles of partnership.

For us, “perfection” is not about being flawless. It is about responsibility, consistency, and the daily improvement of quality. It represents the continuous refinement of our services and approaches — a process that has been ongoing for 15 years.

Growing Faster Than Expected

The first client quickly led to subsequent ones, and the agency began to expand rapidly. Within just a year, new clients and projects from various business sectors emerged. Two years later, the agency boasted an expanded team, international contracts, and representative offices in Lviv, followed by Kyiv. At that time, PR in Lviv was mostly limited to event management or press relations; almost no one was building systematic communications for business. There was a critical shortage of full-service agencies, and Perfect PR became one of the pioneers.

An Approach That Builds Value

The agency has never been just about communications. It has always been essential for us to understand the inner workings of our clients’ businesses — how they make decisions, what risks they fear, and where they want to grow. Our primary mission is to help clients remain impactful in their fields under any circumstances. That is why communication is not just an add-on function for a business, but an integral part of corporate development. What matters most is not just a temporary result, but the long-term value that communications create for the client.

Changes That Defined Our Style

As the agency evolved, so did its visual identity. The first versions of the logo were complex and rich in detail. They reflected a period of intense exploration: how to look, how to speak, and how to stand out.

Along with the first campaigns came new challenges, new partners, and a higher level of responsibility. We dived deeper into our clients’ businesses, learning to look beyond isolated communication requests to see the broader context in which a company operates — its reputational risks, ambitions, challenges, and growth points. This was the period when our approach to comprehensive communication strategies was forged.

Every stage added to our experience, not only in our work but also in how we perceived ourselves visually. Consequently, our logo changed. It gradually became more structured, precise, and mature.

These changes were all about evolution. As our clients scaled, our demands on ourselves grew: processes became less chaotic and more structured, while decisions became increasingly strategic. Every new phase of growth brought experience, and each experience shaped a more conscious approach to how the agency looks and communicates with the outside world.

Rebranding 2023: When Form Aligned with Substance

In the spring of 2023, we underwent a complete rebranding, fully refreshing our identity — from the logo to the color palette and typography. The new logo became concise and more elegant.

The name transformed into the shortened version — Perfect, paired with the descriptor PR agency. The core idea is “less noise, more substance.” This is exactly what the agency represents today. The logo symbol has become more precise: two arrows moving in opposite directions, forming a single, cohesive square. This signifies balance and diverse directions that ultimately come together into a unified system.

For us, rebranding is not merely a design update; it is a visual representation of the agency’s growth. Over our years in the market, we have seen that communications can both strengthen a business and create reputational risks for it. That is why today we view PR much more broadly—as an essential element of a company’s strategic development. This defines our approach today.

The Most Important Thing Remained Unchanged

Over 15 years, the market, clients, requests, and the agency itself have changed. Perfect PR never tried to stand still; on the contrary, change became the driver of its growth. Yet, the core remains unchanged: Perfect PR operates so that the client feels not only the results but also genuine attention to their business at every stage. Quality of service and care for the client and their business always remain at the center of everything we do. This is something that transcends any rebranding and serves as the foundation of our development.

“Fifteen years ago, creating the agency was a bold decision to start a new path. Today, it is an experience that has proven that truly powerful communications always begin with a deep understanding of business and people. Yes, a lot has changed during this time: the market, approaches, tools. But every stage of development taught us as an agency to work deeper, more precisely, and with greater attention to the client. We have come a long way from a small agency to a team of professionals with a well-established strategic approach. And the greatest value for me has always been and remains the people we worked with and for whom we created results,” adds Nataliya Ulynets.

Moving forward, we continue helping our clients remain impactful.
