On April 5, under the chairmanship of the First Deputy Head of the Lviv Regional State Administration Bohdan Matolych, a meeting was held to prepare for the XXV International Agro-Industrial Exhibition “Agro-2013”, which will take place on May 22-25 at the Expocenter in Kyiv.
It should be noted that “Agro-2013” is the largest national event in the agro-industrial complex of Ukraine, which represents all sectors of agriculture, food, processing, and fishing industries, as well as agricultural machinery.
As reported during the meeting this year, the recommended area for the exhibition of the Lviv region is likely to be 41 square meters. m, which will feature more than ten projects of various types.
Bohdan Matolych stressed the responsibility and importance of the event for the region. “With this representation, we have the opportunity not just to declare, but to show the progress and prospects of agribusiness development in the region and thus interest other regions and investors in cooperation,” he said.
According to him, for the success of the exhibition of agro-industrial products and agricultural machinery in the Lviv region, it is necessary to form a complex theme to offer its unique concept. “We must carry the spirit of Europe,” B. Matolych concluded.
Based on the meeting results, the first deputy head of the region was instructed to submit the developed exposition plans, which were agreed upon with all exhibition participants. He also said that on May 25 in Lviv it is planned to hold the Farmer’s Cup, the scenario of which is already being developed and the venue is being specified. “The Agro-2013 exhibition can have its continuation and logical conclusion in the competitive process of the Cup, and the best result will be sponsorships and grants,” added Bohdan Matolych.
